Yarmouth, Maine Head Shots with Chelsea!
These Yarmouth, Maine head shots were SO chilly but also so much fun — these amazing folks radiated enough warmth for all of us! I photographed Chelsea’s wedding several years back and we’ve been connected ever since. She’s one of those charismatic, magnetic people that is just awesome to be around. She is extremely personable and genuine, and you really feel like she hears you when you talk to her. She got involved with a new business venture — as did her partner, her parents, her sister, and a few others — and she got in touch with me about doing some head shots for the whole group, which I loved the idea of! Head shots are a fairly simple, easy photo session to do, so it makes a lot of sense to get a group together and do them all at once. There’s cohesion among the individual photos since we’re using the same location, and people can help each other with their outfits, chat when they’re not being photographed, etc… it’s great!
We were able to use the property of The Muddy Rudder in Yarmouth, ME for our backdrop. Like I said, it was COOOOLD that day — winter head shots can be tough — so it was nice to have such a beautiful outdoor space but to also be able to pop inside and warm up when we needed to! Normally I reschedule when the temperatures are that frigid, but with such a big group I knew we wouldn’t be able to coordinate another workable day! It was worth it, though — so many great, happy shots. 🙂
