Wedding at Hardy Farm in Fryeburg, Maine

This wedding at Hardy Farm in Fryeburg, Maine was just the most beautiful, sweet fall celebration! I first met Jess when I photographed a Lush company party — I was immediately struck by how sweet and bubbly she was. She got in touch with me shortly after about their wedding and I was so honored! Her and Jason met and started dating back in 2008 when they were both attending William Patterson University in New Jersey. They knew right away how opposite they were — she was studying communications with a concentration in TV and radio while he was focused on sociology with a concentration in criminal justice — but they also just clicked! She was able to persuade him to move to Maine with her in 2012 — it helped that he grew up in Belfast! — and they’ve been here ever since! They fell in love with Hardy Farm before they even saw it in person, but once they visited they knew it was the one. It’s honestly one of the most beautiful venues in the area, surrounded by thick, gorgeous woods and with a stunning main house for guests to stay in. They got ready right at the farm, had their ceremony in the woodsy clearing, an outdoor cocktail hour, a very comfort-food focused dinner in the tent, and then dancing in the beautiful barn! The whole day just felt GOOD. Jess and Jason are both so warm and genuine, with smiles that will just melt your heart, and they have such a supportive and fun group of family and friends!
