Wayne, Maine Couples Session | Diana & Denise!

This Wayne, Maine couples session was so sweet and fun — Diana and Denise are two of my favorite people ever! I first met these two when my mom and I traveled to Washington, DC for the first time back in 2014. We were looking for a place to stay, hoping to room with friends or acquaintances. My aunt, who lives in Cincinnati, suggested her cousin, Diana. We got in touch and Diana and her partner Denise were MORE than happy to host us for the week! They were living in Silver Spring, Maryland, at the time, so it was a quick drive into the city. We couldn’t believe how generous and kind they were — these were essentially two strangers to us and they couldn’t have been more warm and welcoming. They trusted us, made sure we were well taken care of, and we learned quickly how intelligent, passionate, and loving they are. We returned again in 2015 with my husband, in 2016 with my grandparents, and another time or two solo, and they were the highlight of each trip! So when Diana told me that she and Denise were traveling to Maine to spend a week with some friends, I was happy to take photos for them. They were staying in a log cabin on Dexter Pond in Wayne, a super cute little town west of Augusta, and I got to take some awesome couple photos of them. 🙂 They’ve been together for 18 years and the love is palpable!!
