Washington, DC Engagement Session

I was so happy I could coordinate this Washington, DC engagement session with Laura & John during one of my yearly visits to the city! These two were planning to get married in Massachusetts but lived in Washington, DC, and when they found out that I took a yearly trip there every spring, they were on board to try to make our schedules match up so we could do a shoot! We completely lucked out and were able to do this sweet engagement session in the neighborhood right around their apartment. It’s so fun for me to not only do an engagement session in a brand new city but to explore it with people who live there and love it — it’s not only an invigorating challenge (to have all new, unfamiliar settings) but it’s a way to get to know my clients better by seeing where they live and interact. We laughed SO much walking around during this shoot and got some beautiful photos, too. 🙂
