UTEC Wedding in Lowell, MA | Paige & Andrew!
This UTEC wedding in Lowell, MA was such a fun, sweet, laid-back day, in no small part because of the amazing couple getting married! UTEC stands for United Teen Equality Center. It was founded in 1999 as the result of an organizing movement driven by young people to develop their own teen center in response to gang violence in Lowell, MA. Their mission is to ignite and nurture the ambition of our most disconnected young people to trade violence and poverty for social and economic success. Paige and Andrew are a huge fan of the organization’s goals (as am I!) as well as a fan of the aesthetic of sort of older buildings mixed with newer, modern materials, so they decided to get married there. These two met on OKCupid and moved in together maybe a year and a half later. It’s obvious they are meant for each other — they are both the same kind of warm and open human beings, quick to laugh and to help others. Their day was relaxed and fun, filled with so many incredible friends and loved ones, dances, a stuffed animal bouquet, and so much candy!
