Tracy + Mike | Married! 04.20.13 | Plumbing Museum Wedding | Watertown, Massachusetts Wedding Photographer
This is Tracy & Mike, and they might win for most unique wedding that I’ve ever photographed! Tracy got in touch with me last year after finding me on Offbeat Bride, and as soon as I heard her ideas I knew we were a match made in freaking heaven. I mean, she told me she was going to be a “flushing bride” — how could I say no to that!? I didn’t even care what other details there would be… a plumbing museum was enough for me, but Tracy & Mike made it SO AWESOME. They celebrated at the Plumbing Museum in Watertown, MA, and had PVC piping silverware rings, horse centerpieces, amazingly unique clothing (her insane dress + his PeeWee Herman suit = AWESOME)… it couldn’t have been better. It was an intense weekend, though… the Boston Marathon bombing had happened a mere 5 days prior, and the suspect was on the loose IN WATERTOWN on the 19th. We weren’t 100% sure the wedding would even be happening in Watertown for a while on Friday, since much of the city was on lock down, but luckily things settled down and everyone was able to focus on celebrating and partying (while still keeping their minds on the victims and their families, of course). Oh, and one of the most awesome things that happened after this wedding? It was featured on ROCK N’ ROLL BRIDE, one of the wildest wedding blogs ever — a huge personal accomplishment for me. 🙂
