The Junior League of Portland, Maine| Head Shots! | Maine Head Shot Photographer

A friend of mine got in touch with me about taking some photos for The Junior League of Portland, Maine — she and another friend of mine are members and when they decided they needed to amp up their professional photography for the site and social media, she thought to refer me — so awesome!! Firstly, I am so completely on board with this group and their mission. Over 280 members strong (and growing!) and comprised of totally badass women from all walks of life, all professions, all ages. From their website: “The Junior League of Portland is a non-profit organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. The Junior League of Portland reaches out to women of all races, religions, and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism.” How can you not love that?

I met with a group of some of the board members so we could take individual head shots as well as a few group photos at the end, and HOLY CRAP this was so much fun! These women are hilarious, kind, and genuine, and it was truly an honor spending time with them!
