Rachel + Casey | Couples Session! | Austin, Texas Couples Session

This is Rachel & Casey! Rachel got in touch with me via Offbeat Bride – she wanted photos done, but she was all the way in Austin and I was all the way in Maine. But fate prevailed, as my husband and I had JUST booked a trip to Austin to attend the Wizard World Comic Con. See, we’re HUUUUUGE Star Trek nerds — specifically The Next Generation — and the ENTIRE TNG CAST was going to be there. HUGE DEAL. They had only been together at a convention ONCE before, and that was earlier in 2012. This was their FIRST TIME together in the United States, in celebration of the 25th anniversary of TNG. Holy crap. ANYWAYS. Rachel and I were super excited, and decided to schedule a couples session for her and her boyfriend, Casey! They’re not engaged, but plan to be in the future, and the stars just aligned so perfectly that we HAD to take advantage! They took us all over Austin… it was amazing. We hit up Jo’s Coffee on South Congress for the iconic “I Love You So Much” wall. After that we headed to Big Top Candy Shop right down the street for some candy and snow cones. We naturally HAD to get some shots at the Austin postcard mural on the side of Roadhouse Relics. And we finished up the shoot at Mount Bonnell. Rachel said it was the best place in Austin to watch the sun set, and she was NOT KIDDING. They also took us out to a delicious Tex Mex dinner at Trudy’s and for frozen bananas at Bananarchy. my belly was happy. Anyways… I have rambled enough. I just LOVE Austin and LOVE these two!!!
