Providence Public Library Wedding | Kristina & Travis!
This Providence Public Library wedding with Kristina & Travis was so much freaking fun — these two know how to turn a classy venue into party central in no time! Kristina found me on Offbeat Bride and told me that they were drawn to my work because “you seem to really care about your clients, and we value how inclusive your work is… it’s clear that you work with all kinds of people in all kinds of relationships”. Well damn, I was SO thrilled that some of my most important values came through! They had originally thought about getting married in Maine — we did their winter engagement session in downtown Portland! — but after some bouncing around between venues they settled on Providence, which is closer to home for them, and the library was SUCH an exciting choice!! I’ve photographed a bookstore wedding before but this was my first library. 😀
The whole day was just so fun-filled and goofy and happy and I loved it. They had some relaxing time to hang out after they got ready, which was such a rare treat. They did their First Look in one of the library’s foyers which was stunning, and then we got to take photos in a few different areas, including the beautiful facade. Kristina’s son walked her down the aisle which was a really sweet touch. And her and Travis just seemed so in sync all day, so in love — it was an honor to see and celebrate with them!
