Portland, Maine Proposal | Sam & Logan!

This Portland, Maine proposal is EVERYTHING — ecstatic happiness, amazing color, and a couple who clearly loves each other SO much. These two had won a contest I held on Instagram for a free portrait session. I was in touch with Logan on and off about what type of session they’d like to do when he asked me, hey, could I use this for a surprise proposal to Sam? I couldn’t say yes fast enough!!! We decided to meet up in the Old Port — they wanted to get that look of old buildings and brick. Logan and I talked through a lot of the details and logistics and we settled on a couple specific spots as possibilities for THE proposal spot. We set up a sort of code so we could communicate with each other when it was go time. I tried to make our route through the Old Port quick so we could get there ASAP and lessen Logan’s nervousness. 😉 But when he popped the question, Sam could NOT have been more thrilled!! They spent the rest of the session just beaming at each other, laughing about how nervous he had been, and excitedly thinking of the future. It was amazing!
