Portland Head Light Proposal | Ryan & Marit!

This Portland Head Light proposal was so sweet — I love capturing beautiful surprises like this, it’s so fun! Ryan contacted me letting me know that him and Marit were traveling to Maine from Minnesota. They had a break from school and wanted to get away for a bit. He let me know that they’d been dating for almost 5 years so Marit likely knew a proposal was coming someday. We planned to meet at Fort Williams Park and he wanted to propose with a view of Portland Head Light, so we made it happen! Marit was SO surprised and happy, and they even popped some champagne after to celebrate. 🙂
