Mariner’s Church Wedding in Portland, Maine | Sarah & Bruce!

This Mariner’s Church wedding was such an awesome day, in no small part because of how incredibly warm and awesome Sarah and Bruce are! We met back when we did their Cape Elizabeth engagement photos (with their wild little pup) and it was obvious to me not only how in love they are but how kind and welcoming they are as people. We spent the whole time chatting and laughing and it felt like an afternoon with friends. The day of the wedding was no different! They did their ceremony on their friend Rusty’s lobster boat — SUCH a Portland ceremony spot! — and then we headed back to the mainland for a Mariner’s Church reception right in downtown Portland. The day was so focused on them and their desire for everyone to have fun that it didn’t feel like work at all. My kind of perfect wedding day!
