Mackworth Island Family Session with Erin & Jill | Falmouth, ME

This Mackworth Island family session with Erin & Jill and their two sweet babies, Elsa and Owen, was just pure childlike fun! You may remember Erin and Jill from waaaaay back — I photographed their amazing Northeast Harbor commitment ceremony back in 2010! I was so thrilled to hear from them again, and so happy to hear about their twice-as-big family! We met up at Mackworth Island in Falmouth, Maine, which is such a gorgeous spot all year round. It was perfect for them since they’re outdoorsy people and they wanted to be connected to nature (and just exploring and having fun) while we took photos. Elsa and Owen wasted NO time getting connected to nature in their own way (namely by putting bits of it in their mouths) and it was so fun to watch them adventure around the little island. 🙂 Elsa and I made fast friends — it was tough to take pictures at some point because she wanted to keep holding my hand — the highest compliment one can get from a child! <3
