Kayla + Joe | Married! 05.18.12 | First Unitarian Church of Providence Wedding | Wannamoisett Country Club Wedding

This is Kayla & Joe! The two of them met in middle school, amazingly enough, while they were both living in Rhode Island. They dated in high school and again in college, and finally decided to get married! When Kayla first contacted me in September, Joe was in Oregon for a job he took after graduation, so they did a long distance thing for a bit — and they actually incorporated some of Oregon into their wedding decor (their table names!). They have such awesome style — from their record in place of a traditional guest book, the paper cranes, the Oregon-themed table names, it was all awesome. They had their ceremony at the First Unitarian Church of Providence in Providence (duh), Rhode Island. It is a GORGEOUS church — and the weather that day was beautiful, so they actually had some of the windows open. So lovely. Their reception was at the Wannamoisett Country Club in nearby Rumford, Rhode Island. That was where we ended up doing all the portraits, since they had beautiful grounds (and a cute little gazebo!). The reception went well into the night and everyone had an amazing time!
