Kallie + Eric | Married! 09.16.11 | Belfast Boat House Wedding | Maine Wedding Photographer

This is Kallie & Eric! They are a unique couple, for sure, and I liked their style right away. Firstly, Kallie proposed to Eric… how cool is that!? Secondly… they decided on a film theme for their wedding reception. That’s just plain awesome. They chose the Belfast Boat House for their wedding day, which is a fantastic spot. It’s a small, intimate venue, just SURROUNDED by the beauty of coastal Maine. Perfect! They traveled from Kansas, but they’re both Maine natives, so it worked perfectly. They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony with the boats in the harbor behind them, and then headed inside for their reception (good thing – it was cold that day!). The whole place was decked out – movie posters on the walls, a huge candy bar (with adorable bags for guests to take home), and even a popcorn maker in the lobby area. Perfect! Kallie is a graphic designer, so she did the designing of everything herself – the etched pint glass favors, the candy bags, even their custom canvas for guests to sign. So awesome!
