Jessica + Tom | Married! 09.18.11 | Canoe Club Wedding | Massachusetts Wedding Photographer

This is Jessica & Tom! Jessica initially described her wedding to me as “DIY, vintage, and all about the party”… SOLD! They were married at the Canoe Club in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts (which has since been renovated, so it’s even more awesome!). Their ceremony was short and sweet, held right on the side lawn in the gazebo. The reception was inside, and Jessica and her bridesmaids did SO much of the decor themselves, it was awesome and truly unique. Button bouquets, music-themed centerpieces, an awesome sign at the entrance, a sort of photo-mobile with shots of Jessica & Tom throughout their lives, even the ADORABLE cake topper, modeled to look like them. We also spent ample time before the ceremony taking photos at a nearby park. Doing the photos this way allowed us to spend much more time getting shots of Jessica & Tom with their families and wedding party, individually and separately. They also had a friend of theirs bring her old-fashioned car, so we got some pretty bad ass shots with that. Jessica & Tom fit into the theme so well – both of them are heavily tattooed, and have such a unique style. It was an awesome day!
