Hope Club Wedding | Daniella & David!
Daniella & David’s autumn Hope Club wedding in Providence, Rhode Island, was just so awesome. These two did such an amazing job of keeping only the traditions that meant something to them, getting rid of the rest, and even adding in a few new ones of their own!
They met playing foosball in a co-ed fraternity (Zeta Delta Xi!) at Brown University when David was a medical student and Daniella was an undergrad. They were living in Louisville, KY, at the time of the wedding, but knew they wanted to get married near their alma mater. They had originally planned to get married AT Brown, but ended up deciding on the Hope Club, just down the street. It was established in 1875 as a private, social club and is a pretty fantastic spot for a wedding. It has old-school charm and elegance and the neighborhood is picturesque, to say the least.
We did their First Look right at the Hope Club and then took a short walk over to Brown University for their family formals and some couple portraits. Late October is SUCH an amazing time of year for weddings for lots of reasons, especially the cool weather and the gorgeous foliage! We headed back to the Hope Club for their ceremony (which they did outside on the terrace) and then an indoor reception. It was such a casual, laid-back day. But the highlight? Instead of a first dance, they did a FIRST FOOZ. Clearly we were meant to be. 🙂
