Grace Restaurant Wedding in Portland, Maine | Moira & Greg!
This Grace Restaurant wedding in Portland, Maine was the most chill, fun, happy day ever! When Moira got in touch with me, she told me how their number one goal was to have a fun wedding with a more photojournalistic feel for photos and she thought my style reflected that well. I couldn’t have said it better myself! These two met through mutual friends back in 2009 — Moira said they ended up at a party at her apartment together and they just clicked. Apparently they spent the next few months harboring secret crushes on each other before their friend figured it out and boom — the rest is history. Greg proposed to her in 2015 while she was packing to leave for an internship. He hid the ring in her new cell phone box — she’s notorious for breaking her phones but Greg works for Verizon so the reason why she truly married him is obvious. 😉 She describes them as best friends and, honestly, being around them, it rings so true. These two clearly have a deep respect and love for each other that goes beyond just romance — they truly like and enjoy each other’s company. They’re originally from Massachusetts but they ended up back in Maine for Moira’s grad school program and stayed — I mean, how can you not love Portland? They had their whole celebration at Grace Restaurant, right in the heart of the city, and it fit them so well. Formal but not at all stuffy, beautiful details, a ceremony up on the balcony, and then so much great dancing. 🙂
