Wentworth by the Sea Country Club Wedding | Emily & Adam! 09.26.15

This Wentworth by the Sea Country Club wedding of Emily & Adam was coastal New Hampshire perfection! You might remember them from their Odiorne Point State Park engagement session (the one with the incredible sunset!). Emily was referred to me by her cousin and I am so glad — her and Adam are two of the most laid-back and genuinely kind people I’ve ever known. They met their sophomore year in college — they gravitated towards each other right away, and started dating during their senior year. They spent the first chunk of their relationship living in different parts of New Hampshire, but eventually he moved down to Portsmouth with her and that’s where they’ve been ever since! Adam proposed to Emily right in front of her family’s beach house — they spent many of their early days there together and Emily considers it to be the place they fell in love. So when they were on the hunt for a wedding venue, they only had two requirements: in or near Portsmouth, and as close to the water as possible! Wentworth by the Sea Country Club ended up fitting the bill perfectly. We met up at Prescott Park for their First Look and family and wedding party formals, and then we headed to Wentworth for their beautiful (and windy!) outdoor ceremony and tented reception. They had soft, romantic colors, nautical touches, and SO MUCH FOOD, guys (mostly dessert, as it should be). It was a casual, fun, HAPPY day all around!
