Downtown Portland, Maine Engagement Photos | Abby & Ryan!

These downtown Portland, Maine engagement photos with Abby & Ryan were so awesome, due in large part to how laid-back and sweet these two are! Abby found me through her sister Laurin, whose Harpswell wedding I photographed several years ago. Family and friend referrals are my absolute favorite because I pretty much live by the phrase “a friend of so-and-so’s is a friend of mine” — if the couple I already photographed is awesome, chances are their friends and family are, too. 😉 I remembered vividly how warm and welcoming both Laurin & Phil’s families were, so Abby hiring me for her own wedding was an honor. They were married in Bath, Maine, but decided to do their engagement session in Portland! We wandered around a few spots in the Old Port and got some photos that I think showcase their relationship quite well. 🙂
