Darcy + Brian | 5-Year Anniversary Session! | Wolfe’s Neck Woods State Park Couples Session | Freeport, Maine Couples Session | Maine Couples Photographer

This is Darcy & Brian! Darcy and I knew each other a bit in high school, so I was thrilled when she contacted me to do a 5-year anniversary session for her and her husband, Brian. I think anniversary sessions are such an awesome idea in general — you get a chance to get updated photos with your partner and celebrate your love — but they had an even better reason: Darcy had just found out she was pregnant! They wanted to mix in a few photos to celebrate that, but since she wasn’t nearly far enough along to be showing yet (she was only around 12 weeks), it wasn’t focused around the belly, but more around how much their lives have changed in the past 5 years. Darcy had the idea to bring along a few framed lists — what their lives were like 5 years ago (jobs, just getting married, etc) and what their lives looked like today. Awesome! She also brought along some little baby shoes — they didn’t know the gender yet but I’m guessing she was hoping for a girl. 😉 We met at Wolfe’s Neck Woods State Park in Freeport and had an amazing time exploring!
