Codman Estate Wedding | Kathleen & Matt!

This Codman Estate wedding was an absolute party from top to bottom — this group knows how to have serious fun! I had taken Kathleen and Matt’s Portland, Maine engagement photos in the middle of winter, so it was SO nice to have some gorgeous, summery weather for their wedding down in Lincoln, Massachusetts. The main house on the Codman Estate property was built in 1735 so needless to say it’s quite historic, and absolutely gorgeous. They had their ceremony in the Italian garden — honestly one of my favorite ceremony spots in New England — with their reception in the carriage house after dinner outside under a tent. The property is extensive so there was plenty of room for guests to mingle and play games outside, too, which is always awesome. These two knew how to plan a day that was focused around people, emotion, and fun and it really showed — they laughed through their ceremony, through the toasts, and had a BLAST dancing ’till they were sweaty with their friends and family!
