Castle Island Family Session in Boston, MA | Rachel, Greg, & Linus!
This Castle Island family session with Rachel & Greg and their son, Linus, was so much fun. I met Rachel and Linus during one of my visits down to Dorchester to photograph Rebecca & Quinn and their daughter, Bella. I was instantly drawn both to how laid-back and fun Rachel was, but how absolutely sweet (and photogenic!) Linus was. Rachel mentioned that she’d love to book a family session for the three of them, and I am so glad she did!
I had already been to Castle Island before with Rebecca and Quinn, once when Bella was a baby and another time when she was a bit older and more wild. It’s such a cool location. It’s in South Boston and while it has the word “island” in the name, it’s attached to the main land. It has a few forts and cannons around so you can do some historical exploring, but it also has amazing views of the harbor, a small beach, a playground, a casual restaurant, and, maybe best of all, A PARKING LOT!
It was so fun to walk around with these three. Linus was at the perfect age to really run around and explore. He also called every man in jeans he saw “dada” so that made for some interesting looks. đŸ˜‰ We had lots of fun just exploring the island, finding rocks and shells on the beach, and they did a great job of just being a fun, goofy family on camera! I can’t wait to see these three again. đŸ™‚
