Britni + Ben | Married! 04.07.13 | UpStairs on the Square Wedding | Cambridge, Massachusetts Wedding Photographer

This is Britni & Ben! They were referred to me by Lucy & Chris, whom I ADORE, so I knew it would be a good match. We weren’t able to meet before the wedding (aside from “meeting” during a quick phone chat), but as soon as I got there I felt like part of the family. After some getting ready photos we headed downstairs for their First Look, which was just incredible, especially with Britni’s insanely awesome Wai-Ching dress!!! We then headed to the Mass Ave bridge to get some shots of them with the Boston skyline, and it was BEYOND perfect. It was a bit chilly and overcast that day, but as anyone who has done a shoot with me knows, I LOOOOVE overcast weather! It provides this huge, awesome diffuser for the light and makes shooting ANYWHERE gorgeous. The skyline was amazing and Britni and Ben both were just so giddy and in love… so perfect. We then hopped back in the car (driven by my awesome assistant, Kim!) and headed to UpStairs on the Square, where both their ceremony and reception would be. We did some shots inside as well as some formals on the lawn before heading inside. Everything was perfect — the details were simple but stunning, the ceremony was SO filled with happiness (and dancing!), and the reception was just a blast. Yay! This is also probably one of my biggest blog posts ever — I just couldn’t narrow it down!!
