At Home Family Photos in South Portland, Maine | Jared & Kirk!

These at home family photos in South Portland, Maine with Jared & Kirk were so fun, as always! We’ve been doing photos with their son, Zak, since he was a teeny tiny newborn. We did a newborn session at their home, and we did a Mackworth Island family session when he was quite a bit bigger. This time we went back to their home for some casual, intimate photos. I love using my clients’ homes for their photo location for lots of reasons. It’s the most comfortable place for you, it’s got everything you could need (easy to take a snack break!), and it’s still good to go even if the weather ends up crappy. It also takes family sessions to a new, personal level when you’re able to just snuggle up on the couch or play in bed. We finished off the session by going to a nearby playground to get SOME energy out!
