Santarella Estate Wedding in the Berkshires

This Santarella Estate Wedding with Annemarie and Kumara was such a beautiful, nature-inspired, fairytale of a day! You might remember them from their adorable, love-filled Old Orchard Beach engagement session! Annemarie found me on Pinterest — she found my blog post of wedding discounts and saw that their venue, Santarella Estate & Gardens, was on it, so she excitedly contacted me (and I excitedly SQUEEEED and hoped they would book me, and they did!). These two are just such genuinely fun, sweet people. They were so excited to get married in a setting that felt like it was straight out of a fairy tale, and they did an amazing job at continuing that feeling in their decorating and planning (they had nods to gnomes EVERYWHERE, bits of moss and toadstools, elaborate centerpieces, and an incredible “gnome home” card box that THEY MADE THEMSELVES… it was glorious!). Their ceremony was inside the main building, which made me feel like I was inside a castle deep in the woods, and their reception was under a tent outside — several heartfelt toasts, lots of happy tears, and then folks headed back inside for some dancing and cake cutting! Woohoo! One of my favorite touches from the whole day? Instead of a classic father/daughter and mother/son dance, Annemarie danced with Kumara’s father, and Kumara danced with her mom. 🙂
