2011: A Year In Photos
So I’ve been wanting to do this for a few weeks, and I finally got all of the photos together! This is basically a summary of 2011 for me — mostly weddings, some portraits, and even some personal photos thrown in. I tried to highlight every photoshoot I did by picking my favorite (or, in some cases, a couple of my favorites), so pretty much everyone I worked with is represented here! The photos are also in no particular order — I jumbled ’em all up. 🙂
I also wanted to say THANK YOU to all of you incredible couples, families, and individuals who worked with me in 2011 and continue to put your trust and confidence into me and my work. Many of you have been amazingly supportive and encouraging and it really means the world to me. I’ve been lucky enough to see such unique, love-filled weddings and spend time with some beautiful people, some of whom I still consider close friends. You are all freaking incredible.
To all of the people who helped and supported me in 2011, you’re amazing. My various assistants for the year: Brandon, Kim, Sadie, Jessica, Caitlin, Graham, JJ, Toni, my brother Gray, and my awesome husband Nate. You all helped me with photo gear, ate meals with me, kept me company on long drives, made sure things ran smoothly, kept the party rockin’ by running photo booths, and most of all: helped me keep my sanity. THANK YOU. Thank you, too, to Natasha, who did hair and makeup for many a shoot and did an absolutely GORGEOUS job (and also kept me, and everyone, laughing).
To my friends and family who have been interested in my work, encouraging with my endeavors and challenges, happy when I’ve succeeded, supportive when I’ve stumbled and failed… thank you. Especially to my Mom and Grandma… you two are always on the sidelines cheering me on, and you don’t hesitate to make yourselves heard. I can always count on a comment or a “Like” on Facebook from one (or both) of you. I love you both more than anything in the entire universe.
And most of all, to my husband, Nate — the most incredible person in my life. You’re a constant source of strength, inspiration, and love, and being able to come home at the end of the day and watch Star Trek with you is the best thing in the world. I love you.
Enjoy the photos!!!!!!!!!!!
